According to the results of the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar until 12:00 o’clock, two newly infected persons were registered for the presence of coronavirus from Grude one female and Posušje one male person.
A woman from Široki Brijeg, born in 1926, died of COVID-19 at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar.
Eleven people recovered from the presence of coronavirus, five from Široki Brijeg, four from Ljubuški and two from Grude.
There are 106 people in self-isolation.

As of October 17, 2021, a total of 15,632 doses of vaccine against COVID-19 were administered in the West Herzegovina County, of which 8,138 people were vaccinated with the first dose, and 7,494 people were vaccinated with the second dose. A total of 19,256 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were received in the West Herzegovina County. On October 17, 2021. in the West Herzegovina County, a total of 2,456 doses of vaccine remained.
